Precious little one year old

I had the opportunity to take this beautiful family's pictures along with their darling little one year old. She was so cute! This family was special because we were actually in child birth class together. The father and my hubby liked to joke around a lot...which doesn't suprise me lol. All in good fun though right? :) We ended up with beautiful babies so we did something right! (Right Kelly?) :) Miss Mya would stand so tall like a big girl! This was also my first Smash the Cake session...it was awesome!








And what fun would it be if there weren't out takes....lol. You see that dad is pinching her right? Just teasing, mommy left the room!

Cheerleading Session

What a way to start 2010! I had a photo session with 17 teenage girls! Let's see what else was just a little big crazy...snow...freezing outside...and 32 MPH WIND!!! The wind was crazy! And the girls were their hair down for the outside pictures...so the wind was not our friend! But I have a question for you all, who was it that said cheerleaders weren't tough? I would definately have to disagree after seeing them in the snow freezing their rear ends off and still have huge smiles on their faces! Not quite sure you would have gotten that from me at that point! OH and it was in the morning after a long conference game the night before! Yeah...these cheerleaders...I'd say they are pretty tough ;)

Winding Down!

My little break is winding down and I'm ready to get started again! 2010 is going to be a fun year! I had some really fun shoots in 2009, but I think 2010 just might top it! Have a few fun things in store too so I can't wait to get started. Next weekend I will be taking the WHS cheerleaders pictures and I'm pretty excited about it. Hello, 18 or so girls who KNOWS to smile when they are suppose to?!?! Does it get any better than that?!? :) I think they will be a lot of fun and bring a lot of personality to the pictures. I can't wait to get started! 2010...here comes Sandy Clarke Photography! Be sure to look back because February - April are already getting pretty busy!

Thompson Family 2009

Four children under the age of 9. I had a feeling I had my work cut out of me. Boy was I wrong! These kids were so incredibly photogenic it was unreal, not to mention the mom and dad! Wow! They made it awfully easy on me let me tell ya. They were also a little crazy (they appreciate me saying that :)) so I was able to make the pictures pop a little more in some of the pictures. Love them! Enjoy!

I told the kiddos to make silly faces....and yes...one decided to pick his nose. ha!

This dad is in the National Guard and he's a police officer, definate hero in my eyes and I'm sure in the eyes of his little girl whom you can see the pride in her eyes...priceless.They wanted a little splash of color in some of the pictures and the color scheme they picked out worked perfect for it

Rodgers Family 2009

This family had not gotten actual family pictures since their oldest was in junior high and she's a junior in high school now. I told the mom she shouldn't be waiting this long any longer! Pictures are too much fun! This family was a joy to work with, they were so incredibly easy! Great to work with that's for sure! Enjoy!
