I Heart Mom sneak peek!

The past two weeks have been crazy busy! I've been editing like a crazy woman and I'm pretty pleased with how all of the pictures are turning out. It's so awesome because each session was so different from the next, so it definately kept me on my toes. I'm still in the process of editing the sessions from this past weekend, including a family session where I was also able to get some pictures of mom and dad because they never even had engagement pictures?!?! Come on now, EVERYONE deserves engagement pictures, who cares if you've been married for how many years now :) So I can't wait to get started on them either!


But yeah, definately browse through all these pictures and just see the diversity, it's amazing!

On a side note, comments now have to go through me first. That's not saying I don't care about what you think of the pictures lol, no that's not it at all. I love all of the encouragement you have to offer because having just started this last August, I know I have a lot to learn so I appreciate the feedback you are willing to give! But one thing I refuse to expose you all to are hateful, immature, and disrespectful comments. You don't need nor deserve that, nor do I. Sweet baby girl

Trying to get caught up on all this blogging business I am posting about my session I had last weekend with a little 5 week old baby girl. I have not had a session with a little one like that since September so I had to get back into the groove of things.

I knew with the baby a little older, she'd be more awake so I was prepared to get some awake shots and hopefully some sleepy shots too because pictures of baby's sleeping are just so peaceful to look at I think. Well this poor precious little baby has colic so we weren't for sure just how this session was going to go. But she was a trooper! We took several breaks for both baby and mama and just made and afternoon of it. It was a lot of fun and it was nice to be around a little itty bitty baby like that again ;) hehe

Tis the season

For seniors! I'm going to try my hand at this whole senior photography business. As of right now my first session starts in June, but I had to opportunity to do a few senior sessions this past week and make their invitations. That got the creative juices flowing! They were a lot of fun. One session was with a couple of girl friends whom have been friends for a long time, so it was neat to capture that relationship. This girl is the one I'm currently working on. I saw her get out on the vehicle and I instantly knew we were going to have a good time. Check out this girls outfit. The hair piece. The shoes. Oh yeah...love it! Oh and let's not forget the purse! She just had such a unique sense of fashion and she was confident about it, which is what I loved. So I just ran with it and we had a good time. So enjoy! I will be doing her entire senior session within the next couple of months and I can't wait to get behind the camera with her again!

Mama's little fairy princess

This little girl was so fun....let alone adorable. This was my first client whom I hadn't ever actually met. The mom and I both swear we've met before, and one of these days we'll figure out when. Small world, even smaller county :)

I brought bubbles and a lollipop and had a few things that she could dress up in and she was sold. I didn't realize it would be that easy! It was funny because there were a few times that I would start to tell you to do something and turn around and she was doing it already.

This session was also a pretty neat session because this was the first session I was able to show off my neat little business endeavor. BriAnn Boutique makes these awesome bows, tutus, and all kinds of girly stuff. Well she is needing some professional pictures of her products and well I am needing some neat props....so we decided to just jump in and get it started! Let me tell you, this little girl LOVED being able to go through and pick out a few things she wanted to wear. She has pretty good taste too if I do say so myself.

Ok ok enough talking about this cutie pie, here she is for your own eyes. So precious...so innocent...yet so beautiful!

Just a little sneak peek

This was my first repeat client and I couldn't wait to get behind the camera with them again. They both have such personalities and are willing to try just about anything, a photographers dream :)

I thought I'd show you a little bit on how it went, too fun for words.

And this was for the wife....who is a obsessed (her words) Twilight fan. :)

My #1 Model

That's right, my precious baby girl. She's always ready to get some picture snapped at her. When we did her One Year pictures she didn't necessarily want to be in all her cute little outfits, but put that cake in front of her and she was one happy girl!

I thought I'd give you a peek at how the smash the cake session went with her. It was hilarious. No timidness what so ever, just several "peez mommy don't take it away" looks lol. Fun times and good natural light coming through. Now if we could just actually FEEL the sunshine, that would be a wonderful thing! Soon enough :)

Mommy is now coming to terms with her precious baby girl being a one year old and boy is she just growing like a weed! One of the best years of my life! Thank you baby girl, mommy loves you!

Precious little one year old

I had the opportunity to take this beautiful family's pictures along with their darling little one year old. She was so cute! This family was special because we were actually in child birth class together. The father and my hubby liked to joke around a lot...which doesn't suprise me lol. All in good fun though right? :) We ended up with beautiful babies so we did something right! (Right Kelly?) :) Miss Mya would stand so tall like a big girl! This was also my first Smash the Cake session...it was awesome!








And what fun would it be if there weren't out takes....lol. You see that dad is pinching her right? Just teasing, mommy left the room!
